Our story · Est. 2016

We started because nobody knew what they were paying for.

In 2016, getting your clothes dry-cleaned in Delhi was an exercise in mild anxiety. You'd hand over a saree, a shirt, a pair of trousers — and you wouldn't know what you owed until you came back to collect. The price changed by fabric. By embroidery. By how busy the shop was that week. By how well-dressed you looked when you walked in.

It wasn't dishonest, exactly. It was just chaotic. Every dry cleaner in the city worked off the same unspoken rulebook: quote loose, charge case-by-case, hope the customer doesn't argue. The result was that good clothes went unwashed. People would let nice garments sit at the back of their wardrobes for months because the idea of dry cleaning had become exhausting — not the cleaning itself, just the negotiation.

We started OnePrice because we thought this was solvable.

The premise was simple: pick three honest rate tiers, publish them on a board behind the counter, and stick to them no matter what. ₹60 for regular wear. ₹120 for premium. ₹250 for blankets. Same price for a cotton shirt as a silk one. Same price for a plain saree as an embroidered one. Same price for the regular customer as the first-timer.

OnePrice wasn't just a pricing model. It was a permission slip.

People started bringing in clothes they'd been putting off for years — wedding lehengas folded since the reception, sherwanis their fathers passed down, carpets that had survived three monsoons. Once the pricing question was off the table, the only question left was whether we'd do a good job. That's a question we knew how to answer.

Ten years later, we're still answering it. We've grown to three branches across South Delhi — JVTS Garden in Chhatarpur Extension, Paryavaran Complex in Sainik Farm, and our first franchise in Malviya Nagar. We've added laundry by the kilogram (₹89, also flat) and steam ironing for clothes that just need freshening. We pick up and drop off everything for free, because the pickup question shouldn't be a negotiation either.

The brand name still describes the model exactly. One price. No surprises. No haggling. The first-time customer pays the same as the decade-old regular. The saree gets the same care as the shirt. And the question of what will this cost — the one that used to keep good clothes locked away — gets answered before you hand over the bag.

We're now opening franchises across Delhi for people who want to bring this model to their own neighborhood. If you've felt the same frustration we did in 2016, and want to be part of fixing it locally, we'd love to talk.
